Sounds like a lawnmower is inside or someone is using a drill. They refuse to repair or replace. Worst customer service on the planet. The “Service” visits were a total scam, and allows Whirlpool off the hook. Customer service was an absolute joke. Kept me on hold, got disconnected twice. Finally spoke with a robot manager who offered me 15% off to buy another Whirlpool!!! Now Im stuck with this piece of junk. $1300 later including an extended warrantee. Shame on any dealer selling this garbage. Beware. Buy another brand. You will thank me later…

Brought this recently to replace an older model which failed after about 9 years when the fridge failed to be cold. Functionally this new one is fine since it is only a couple of months new. However I noticed the workmanship seems to have gotten worse. Most noticeably is the sharp corners at the door when the steel were made (bent). There are actually so sharp that could cut your fingers. A little polishing/grinding added to the manufacturing process would have solved this safety issue. The other issue is the freezer side trays are not closed at the bottom, parts keep fallen through the gaps, very disappointing. Also the seal of the door is not stiff enough causing the bottom door to look out of line-up with the freezer door.

It's OK but has a number of flaws: The vegetable crisper drawers won't accommodate celery or romaine lettuce because they aren't deep enough. The freezer door shelves allow most items to fall through, some grid like material along the bottom would make them far more useful. All the seals around both doors come loose all the time. The freezer needs a light. An alarm to tell you when the door is left open would be nice but it is not an expensive fridge so that feature is probably too pricey for this model. I would rcommend it if a friend was on a budget, if they could afford more I would not.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Darkwing from Poor Customer service - Fairway Appliance Service I bought this fridge and had it delivered 11 months ago. The fridge door seal fell off and wouldn't stay on. I had Fairway Appliance in Kelowna come look at it which took weeks. They couldn't repair it so ordered a new seal which took months. They came to try and install it and it wouldn't stay on the door so the repair service said it needs a whole new door. It has been a couple more months now and I still have not had it repaired. The door seal pulls off every time the door is opened. It doesn't seal so the fridge runs constantly and food is spoiling because the seal won't seal. I still don't know where the door is and Fairway Appliance in Kelowna says it shipped, but they don't know where it is. At this point, almost a year in they should just bring a new fridge.

Within first 10 months it started to freeze everything in the fridge so we adjusted the temperature and it started to unfreeze our freezer items. It has been over two months that the fridge cannot freeze items. I posted a review Aug 23rd, but no one seems to take care of it.
