Whirlpool does not stand behind their products. My fridge has been non functional for almost a month now (May 24 2022- June20, 2022). Whirlpool customer service is a joke, they don't care that your brand new appliance hasn't been working for a month, who needs a fridge, right? The first Tech they sent out said he would get me a replacement. When I called customer service they said no, the Tech they sent was incompetent so they need to send another one out that I have to wait more time for. The new Tech says they will have the part next week....which of course doesn't happen. Buy any other brand...never Whirlpool.

Instead of delayed delivery we picked it up ourselves from their warehouse in Langley, BC and saved $80. It looks good and does the job and was easy to install. Suggested room for improvement would be a light in the freezer.

I chose if for its interior layout with double crisper drawers and meat drawer, but the body of the fridge really is very small for three adults in the household. The fridge door storage offers useful additional storage with a good layout. It keeps consistently cool and the temperature is reliable. We have had it for 4 months and all is working well. Most annoying feature is the top of the fridge door seal. It sags and falls off frequently, stopping the door from shutting properly. It pops back into place easily, but falls out again within the week. Very irritating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JLee from Does what I need Our old refrigerator was close to 20 yrs old and was starting to make strange noises, so we researched and found our present whirlpool which had similar features but with more modern improvements eg LED lighting etc. It’s been several months and we are completely satisfied with it. It’s very quiet, uses less energy, and is a little roomier than our previous one even though it’s similar dimensions outside.

Going to cost $920 to fix. I did like this fridge up until now. If you buy it you better get the extended warranty... not built to last.
