Worst washing machine! from
DefectiveWe bought this all in one washing Machine last year because the reviews was good and perfect for small condo units. The washing machine was doing great in the past months, and suddenly the washing machine is getting terrible. This is not the first time happened to us. I contacted the company about my concern and they visit to our place to fix the problem but it happen again and again and more worse! It’s starting leaking and leaking until that time I’m doing laundry and I heard strong sound of running water coming from the washing machines. I’m so disappointed! I regrets to buy this all in one washing machine! I hope they fix this!!

Great fit for my condoWe only had a washer and hung dried clothes so going to an all-in-one was great. The washing works really well however, drying is restricted to small light loads and takes a long time at that. Additionally, there is only bulk filler you can not pour for a single load and there is a bit of a defect where one side is not working... warranty is underway for 8-12 weeks to fix. Not terribly impressed that it requires 240V since internally (with tech) it's only using 120V
Other than that it's a great concept just a little buggy and lacks fine-tune washing adjustments like simple rinse and spin or 1.5x softener

Takes too longI just got it. I can’t figure to edit cycle time. Default cycle time with regular wash and dry is 6.5 hours. And the load is not much. The app can’t send signal most of the time ☹️

Terrible machine save your moneyHonestly nothing good to say about this machine. 7 hours plus for 1 load. Everything comes out so wrinkled. The machine now leaks after a few months. And now the dam thing won't even turn on.

Stopped working immediatelyI bought this unit for a rental unit and it stopped working after 2 uses. An error code showed up which meant a tech had to come out (2 weeks later) and a part ordered (it’s been 2 weeks and we are still waiting for the part). I would not recommend this unit at all

When it works, it’s fine!Purchased this machine in January and have had to have a technician 3 times since then to fix various issues (drain pump not working and LCD screen not working)
Thankfully the customer service at whirlpool has been great and very helpful.

Don't buy this Smart All-In-One Washer and DryerThis machine takes a minimum of 4 hrs. to complete a load of 3 pants. That's not the worst of it. If you start the machine at bedtime, you may wake up to find it still running 10 hrs. later. This has happened to me a couple of times. My hydro bill has increased significantly. It's cumbersome to set the dry only option. The machine constantly says 'mobile phone is connected' and won't let you do anything from the machine until you disconnect the phone. The machine is way to complicated. The dryer is so hot that it shrinks clothing such as towels. If the machine breaks down and parts are not available, you will need to wait 21 working days, that's a month in people time to get any resolution.

Don't buy if...you have a family and lots of laundry - DON'T BUY IT! Cycle to wash and dry is 7.5 hrs.
The filter should be cleaned after every drying cycle which is a pain-in-the-A%&.
Single person (such as myself)? Still wouldn't recommend it.

Nice little machineI purchaded this unit 1 month ago as a space saving option in my laudry area, mostly as an experiment.
The Good Stuff;
- small, compact and the unit works perfectly
- control menu is simple to navigate
- I really like the reservoirs for detergent and softener
- it truly is a "fire and forget" system. Start the unit and go to work, clothes are done and dry upon return.
- the unit is quiet quiet and well balanced.
- the unit has a 220v electrical system so the dryer function actually works properly compared to units with just a 110v system.
- though the unit is compact is can easily handle 1 king comforter.
- as a space saving option it is fantastic.
The not-so-good stuff;
- I don't really feel my clothes are cleaned as well as a normal W/D
- I can't use bleach so my whites are pretty dingy after just 1 wash. I suppose I have to use detergent with a bleach substitute built in.
- the unit is quite difficult to clean with a lot of stuff building up on the bottom the door seal, have to clean it every use.
- I have to clean the filter after each 5 uses approximately. The Filter is located behind a hatch that is hard to get open. I need to use a tool to even get it open, put a tray under the front of the unit, undo a pretty flimsy little hose, drain the unit, unscrew the filter, clean the filter, check the seals on the filter, re-insert the filter, replace the hose carefully into the little tabs, DONT FORGET TO PUT THE PLUG BACK INTO THE END OF THE HOSE LOLOL, Close hatch, carry the pan around to a sink without spilling it because it can only be like 1 inch high to fit under the unit. (without a base)
- The unit is expensive to operate. It takes 6-9 hrs to do each load at 220v. Like baking 3 turkeys every time I do a load so I saw about a 50$ increase in my electric bill over a month approximately.
- The unit makes a bit of a racket during the spin cycle though it is perfectly level.
- be prepared for a significant life-style change as you will not be doing laundry on the weekend. this is a daily machine and since it takes so long to do a load you need to stay on top of your laundry daily or bi-daily.
All in all I think it's a really great little machine but as a working man I feel it does not do what I need it to do.
The perfect place for this unit might be my rig shack out in the field or maybe at the cabin but for my home it is not doing the job.
