Rated 1 out of 5 by from the left coast from Buy Scheiss, Buy Twice My sister purchased this microwave for me for a significant birthday. I've had it for exactly 3 years. The microwave has stopped working, though convection works fine. There is a communications problem between the panel and the motherboard. The cost to repair is the cost of a very expensive new microwave (in excess of $1K just for parts, plus almost $200 for that news. I treat my appliances with respect. I expect them to last more than 3 years. Compare this to my 10 year old Bosch appliance for which I also had repair this week. The cost of the repair is $35 plus labour and the dishwasher is as good as new. Getting through to WHIRLPOOL support was impossible, and I will not create a profile on Facebook to do so. I will also NEVER again purchase a WHIRLPOOL product. Buy scheiss, buy twice. Lesson learned.

Love the features but the display regularly goes down and needs to be unplugged to reset the screen. I,m very concerned on a go forward basis that this product is a flawed launch. Would not recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed from Lemon Had this microwave for just a few days over a year now , started having issues with the touch screen display after 6 months , contacted customer service via the in app email function , no response , issue continued m constantly unplugging to reboot the unit. Now exactly 14 days after the warranty has expired the unit does not heat , complete piece of junk , do not buy any unit that has electronic touch screen .

It didn't work from the start. 3 service calls (and a new door) and it still didn't work right. They sent a replacement unit, and it has OTHER PROBLEMS. Like others have said, this is a poorly designed unit. VERY noisy exhaust fan. Almost no air suction at the intake grilles. Why so noisy, and so little air movement?? The APP and WiFi...forgot about it...seems like they'll never get it to work if they haven't by now. Please don't make the same mistake I did...far too much stress and there are other machines to choose.
