Fairly basic cooktop.
We bought this cooktop to replace an old one.
The new cooktop has much better heat control at lower settings.
The heat control knobs have a small indent to show where you are setting your heat. It is very hard to see. It would be easy to think it was turned off, when it was not. We installed some white tape on the dials to make it easier to see. The location of the burners is not easy to see either. A ring around them in a contrasting colour would have been helpful.
Overall a good cooktop. It could have used a bit more refinement.

Good looking, it requires continuous love though
I bought this for the look and the clean contemporary feel. It operates as it should, however is a constant chore to keep clean. I have the right cleaners for it, I also use a baking soda treatment for a deeper clean. I have used it now for about 7 months. If I am cooking regularly five nights a week and want the surface to shine and look good, it requires a good two hours a month of treatment to keep it that way. Any friends or family I have I would advise to steer away from this surface.

Silver looking spots are a serious concern
It cooks okay and I did not have any problems cleaning it, however, prior to cleaning I noticed that there are 'silver' looking spots on the burners that I've used. These 'spots', which are many are inside and can't be removed. What is this?? and why has this happened? Is the cooktop I purchased defective? I tried to take pictures of these silver looking spots, but because it's a glass top, I only get reflections. Please be in touch with me ASAP. Thank you

Works well but hard to clean
We bought it two months ago after our other glass cooktop, that we had for 25 years, started to give some problems and we could not get the right parts for it. We loved our old one. This new one looks good but it is really hard to keep it clean. After you wipe the cooktop it show all kind of streaks and bubbles. You need to polish it with some cooktop polish and buff it with a micro fiber cloth. This has to be done every time you have used the cooktop.

Hard to see controls.
I bought this because I needed one quickly and it was in stock. It heats efficiently and looks cool but having everything black makes it dofffixult to see the controls or assess what level the heat is. Since I bought this for a short term rental property I do have safety concerns and am looking for a battery powered under cabinet light to increase safety. Not a problem previously because the cooktop was light coloured

Very nice cooktop!
It's lightly larger than our old 30" cooktop which required enlarging the hole, but other that that the install was straight forward. It's design of solid black burner area with slightly different color for the surrounding area is a nice touch. The large dual burner in the front works very well. The top seems to clean easily and is appreciated. We are pleased with this purchase.

this stove scratches so easily marks hard to get out i clean more than cook on it because it scratch with anything any spills omg kill me now

Slight disappointment
I replaced a 15 year old whirlpool stovetop and am slightly disappointed. The old one was grey which is no longer available. The black shows the dirt and dust more. The elements do not heat as quickly, about 10%. The elements ( size wise) are not in the same place and are not as effective for my kitchen.

So So!
Have only had this for a few months and so far so good but I do not understand why most of the stoves out there only have 1 big burner. There is more than enough room to have 2 big ones and 2 small ones. Also, I don't like the fact that the burner cycles on and off.
