Like thr fridge
We have been happy with the fridge. However we had to set the temperature controllers to 5 for both the fridge ad freezer to achieve the recommended temperatures. There is a difficulty with opening the fridge door right after it has been opened before..It seems like once you close the door there is a vacuum created inside the fridge which makes it difficult to reopen. After you wait a few minutes it seems to open easier.

Fridge has been excellent, lots of space, great layout to the freezer. Ice maker works well and isn't too loud. Only thing I would improve in this basic fridge is better quality drawers and door shelves. They feel a little flimsy and don't roll in and out smoothly

Quiet and roomy
We bought this fridge 3 months ago and it works great.
Our last house we had a similar Whirlpool for 15 years and loved it. Got into our new house and the fridge is the first thing we replaced. Roomy, bright inside and very quiet.

Lots of room!
Had to replace a fridge that was refurnished in '92 and just had done its job as a '80 model of another brand. Wanted a new fridge with the bottom freezer as I am getting on and bending over to see in the fridge part was getting to be too much. It was a 30" model. My new Whirlpool 22cu.ft. Bottom-freezer fridge has met all my expectations, it's a 33' model and fits the opening in my cupboard opening with little space to spare for both height and width. Plenty of storage space shelving. Like the crispers as they are able to control moisture and can see into them from the top and front. Lots of shelving also on the door and room for milk and other 2litre containers plus odd and ends of juices, condemns and sauces. The freezer area is well lit as the refrigerator and able to see your baskets easily what is in them. The only drawback I am having trouble opening the drawers as they seal very well but need a great deal of strength to open them, hoping this will end when it's been in use for a little while. Definitely would recommend this product looking for a replacement/new fridge.

Good fridge
I bought this fridge about a month ago. I like that the shelves are not one piece. I can set different heights in either half of the fridge. The seal is excellent. Sometimes too much so as I have problems opening it. One feature I wish it did have is an easy lock for the wheels so it wouldn’t roll while opening.

Noisiest Fridge I’ve ever heard.
We bought this fridge to replace a previous 12 year old whirlpool model that was the same size and had the same features but was white.
The old one ran flawlessly so we thought we’d stay with the same manufacturer.
When we received it we noticed it was a little noisier than the old one, but hoped it was just that it was new and it would maybe quiet down.
The opposite happened. It’s now louder than it had been so we had a service man come out to see if he could fix the noise issue. He tried a couple of things but was unable to lessen the noise and said that it is the fridges normal sound.
We had guests confuse the noise of the fridge for a washing machine as it’s making a whirling sound!

Worth the wait
Needed to replace our 22 cu ft Kitchen aid fridge, but the wait time was too long. Bought a 18 cu ft fridge the retailer had in stock. Only lasted 7 months and we placed our order for the Whirlpool 22 cu ft, that was 3 months out. Glad we waited, as the fridge fits all of our needs.

Our 3rd one
We purchased this fridge because our other fridge quit working. This is the 3rd identical fridge we have had in the past 25 years. Our first one we sold with our home and the same fridge was in our new home. We have only been here for two years so we’re not sure how old the fridge was. So far we are very happy with it! (Especially because the front is now magnetic!!)

Definately the King of Chill
While it took 4 months to arrive no thanks to Covid19 and the broken supply chain, it was worth the wait. The stylish design makes an elegant addition to my modern kitchen. The fridge compartment capacity is HUGE. It is well laid out and everything is easy access. The freezer is large capacity and highly efficient at getting and keeping things frozen. The sliding trays make it a breeze to store and reach food. All in all I'm very happy with this purchase.

Fridge freezes everything. Poor service!
The Whirlpool fridge we bought kept freezing food in the fridge. Local technicians couldn't solve the problem after replacing some parts. They called Whirlpool's technical person and found there are other similar cases for this model. We were told to wait till they solve the engineering issue. We require to replace another model. Whirlpool's customer service Supervisor whose name is Alisha talked very arrogantly and hung up on us.
In one word, bad products, poor service. We will stay away from any Whirlpool product in the future.

i bought this to replace a 18 cu.ft. bottom freezer Maytag that is basically the same and has had no issues but this new Whirlpool has started making noises when running after 1 year and the meat/produce drawers are not as good as the old Maytag as when you pull them out to remove items they fall off into your hands. Disappointed that shortly after the warranty is over it's making noise. Every appliance in my house short of the stand up freezer is Whirlpool or Maytag and most have been bought in the last year and a half
