VERY CONFUSED
Just got these to replace our Duets which blew out due to a power surge. The washer is LOUD!! It sounds like someone is banging on a Gong during the wash and spin cycle. I am shocked!! Also, the instructions tell you in one part to push the "Load and Go" to DISABLE the larger dispenser if you just want to add detergent at the top. I have washed several loads now WITHOUT soap because I did not press the "Load and Go" feature because, as it says, you press it to DISABLE THAT FEATURE. Reading in another section of the instructions, it says to press "Load and Go" if you ONLY want it to use the soap from the larger dispenser. THAT makes more sense but WHY does it say both?? SO CONFUSING. I can't believe I did all those loads with NO SOAP!! I don't think I can stand the noise from the washer---it is NERVE WRACKING! Maybe I received a defective one? I've only had this set for less than a week.

Problem: weight distribution
I bought this appliance to replace an eight year old “duet.” The “duet” from 2011 was already in the townhome we purchased in 2016. That machine was going on its 3rd repair when we opted to replace rather than repair again because a previous repair had proved expensive (a dispenser motor). When I caved to the new machine, I thought it would solve the problem I had with the old one: sheets or a bathroom rug that bunched up and did not spin dry effectively leaving me to wring the items out in a sink. Well, this has already happened with the new machine although I have yet to investigate a fix, such as putting in a towel to balance the load. That this happens with a king size sheet, though, is disheartening. I feel stuck with another round of Whirlpool appliances that honestly I expect a better performance from, not to mention that when I did call for a repair on the Duet, the sanctioned company in my area is Diamond Factory which I have come to distrust...

Nice Machine but Very Loud
I love the features on this machine but the manual of instructions is VERY confusing concerning the "Load and Go" feature. Also, when the machine is on spin cycle it sounds like someone is hitting a Gong! Weird!

Love the size
I have had my washer for 2 months. It is perfect for a family of 5!! I am able to wash queen size comforters which is so helpful with small children and their messes. I like all of the wash options. They have thought of all possible washing scenarios. The dispenser works great! I don’t have to have as many bulky bottles of detergent on hand. Very happy with this purchase.

It’s extremly quiet. Gets clothes extremely clean.
I’ve had the pair for a few days and I love it. I had the first whirlpool front loader from 16 years ago! This one is soooo quiet and I love the all the load options.

Perfect washer
I bought this washer to replace our Samsung washer. It has some cool features like the option to wash a few garments (son's football uniform) and it will dry it overnight with the fan. The only thing that is different to get use to is holding the start button for 3 seconds for each load. Small thing really. The washer isn't small though-nice large capacity! I haven't tried the automatic dispenser for detergent since I use fabric softer in each load anyway so I just add detergent for each load too. Overall, great washer!

Quiet!
I've had this machine for two weeks. Still getting familiar with all of the wash choices but love it so far. Best feature is the Load & Go option. Unlike a previous reviewer, this machine is much quieter than my previous 20-year old Whirlpool Washer.

Almost a lemon
Our washer broke twice the first month we had it. It only worked for 2 of the first 4 weeks. the appliance store finally came out the second time and said if it broke again they would just replace it. The store known for its service dept took practically an entire week each time to get to our house to fix it.

terrible washer beware
i bought the wfw8620hc front load washer July 2019 within 3 weeks the machine froze a technician ordered a new user interface and appliance control and am waiting for the technician to return and see if he can repair the unit awful machine

Very, very quiet, even in the spin cycle.
Haven't had a month yet, but have washed loads of clothes. This is the 5.0 capacity and I love it! I washed three king size sheets and pillow cases in one load, and it performed beautifully. I wasn't sure I would like the load and go, but it is wonderfully convenient. Everything is coming out nice and clean, and I only use the Quick wash, the other cycles are just too long, and who wants to spend all day doing laundry?
