Rated 5 out of 5 by Jan C. from Loyal Whirlpool Customer! On Xmas Eve my washer died. I loved my Whirlpool washer & dryer that I had for 15-20 years. I tried out Goemans for the first time & was so impressed! They were able to supply me with new a Whirlpool 8620 washer & dryer and I got delivery a few days later. The washer is beautiful, has a much larger capacity than my old one and lots of features. The only issue was that I didn't receive the Use & Care Guide (explaining all the features). I couldn't find it on Whirlpool's website so I called Whirlpool and they said they would email it to me but I never received it. So I physically went back to Geomans and they gave me one from the floor model. The same applied to my dryer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ctucci from Great when it works I bought this washer about three years ago and after several months began to have issues with it stopping in mid cycle. I followed the instructions to unplug the washer wait several minutes and replug it. For a short while this worked but it was frustrating. Then it stopped working and we had someone come in to repair it by replacing the mother board. This worked for another year or so and it began to act up again. Thankfully we had an extended warranty and after the service department determined it wasn't worth repairing, they replaced the unit with another identical model. As long as it works, we have no issue with the mechanics of the washer, but I strongly suggest in todays world of electronics, you purhase an extended warranty.

We have checked water pressure, checked for blockages, everything we can think of. The leak keeps getting worse and we have finally had enough. Bought a cheap top load used washer that's 7 years old and it works better than this. I regret wasting my money on this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Wai L from wrost unit I have used I have used multiple units before, Samsung, other Whirlpool, and some other I cannot recall the brand. We got this unit when we purchase our home two years ago, so may be the previous owner didn't take good care of it? but this unit is nothing but trouble to us. sock got caught to the drain, so we actually ended up have to bag all the socks before we put it in machines, which we didn't have to do with our Samsung or another whirlpool unit we used. then the soap dispense made it difficult to access to the filter if small thing get caught in it, again with this unit it happened 4-5 times in the two years we have it. then the machines just broke..... when i looked up the serial number it was only a 4 years old machine. this makes me go back to Samsung unit.

The load and go Isa no brainer and is very easy to use, these days I add borax to dirty loads and hold the load n go button down for 3 secs and do a quick prewash before the regular cycle. For the first time I used the washndry cycle and found it ran on and on and I still had to toss the clothes into the dryer. I will learn...to be flexible enough to do manual and auto soap loading is really awesome! The only negative issue I have is when I clean the washer it leaks and floods my laundry floor. If there's a quick fix I'd like to know it because the clean out shoot is going to do the same thing. Should have a tube to drain into a pail perhaps long enough to not make a big mess

Rated 4 out of 5 by Debi from Like the Load & Go feature This is a very good machine. I like the features but I do miss the Delay function. Previously, I had the Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer and it had that feature. I like the size of the drum and I like the light. I never had a light inside the washer before. I like the load & go dispenser. I wish there was a way to change the sound function and the countdown before it locks the doors but those are minor. Overall, it is a good machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Rex Everything from This does not suck When I bought it I was a little concerned. If it didn't work properly it might have vacuumed my floors or cooked a turkey. My fears were completely unfounded. This thing does precisely what it promises and washes clothes and it does it well. I am a big fan of the soap dispenser. I never thought bid get to a point in my life when something like that would impress me but here I am, sore in the morning, concerned with the edging on my front lawn and overly impressed with a flipping auto soap drawer in my washer. But I really like it. In all seriousness though I am pleased with the machine. Bought them after my 20+ yr old whirlpool duet washer finally cratered. Let's see if I can get this washer to last as long and I'll be old enough then to have regular conversations about friends who have died.

Rated 4 out of 5 by melloyellowkc from Great Machine Bought this Whirlpool because my Maytag started smoking up one day. Decided it was best to replace it because I didn't want a fire in my house. This machine does everything I need however the controls get a bit buggy if you start pressing all the features it offers. To get it back working properly again, you just turn it off and turn it back on.
