Just OK
I've had my new fridge for 10 days, and it looks very nice in my kitchen. It's smaller than my old one, but that's OK - I can manage. The new fridge has the water and ice dispenser on the front, and I am not happy with that. I have never had that on a fridge before, so I thought I would get it this time -- not a good decision! It's impossible to put ice in a glass without some of the ice landing on the floor. Also, the hopper takes up too much room in the freezer, so the freezer capacity is reduced by quite a bit. I can see that this item is going to be useless to me. Is it possible to remove the hopper and just have the water dispenser?

Poor Workmanship
I bought this black fridge 3 months ago. When it arrived I assumed the hinge covers were missing, however, I found out this is how it is suppose to look. I called the store where I purchased it and they told me to deal with Whirlpool, which I did. The customer service was very understanding and listened to my frustration. But in the end, they said this is the way it is manufactured and there was nothing they could do for me and recommended I contact the dealer again. They did however say they would register my compliant which basically means sorry about your luck. I have included a picture of what mine looks like and the image from the Whirlpool internet site as you can see, they is a big discrepancy. Do not buy this fridge, as it looks cheap and poorly manufactured.

Worst Fridge Ever
This fridge was part of the new appliance package that came with out new house.
It consistently makes a high pitched whining noise. Had a tech cone and look for an issue. He said that is a normal noise and nothing can be done.
We live in a 2 story house and the fridge noise carries across the whole main level. Even company have asked what is that noise?!
This noise is going to drive me nuts!
Would not recommend buying.

2 downfalls
Good fridge, except:
1) the water dispenser spout is installed far out, almost beyond the freezer door, and the drip tray doesn't catch the drips, so there is a constant water stain down the freezer door. If there was an additional tray to purchase which extends a little, I would purchase.
2) as soon as the fridge door opens, the fridge floods with condensation like no other fridge I've seen. Not sure if there's a way to prevent this, any feedback would be great.
Other than those two negatives, the fridge is good.

Disappointing!
We bought this refrigerator in July 2021 and we’re very disappointed with the quality. Not only is it loud and noisy when the motor is running, but the door on the refrigerator side does not have a stopper to hold the door open at 90 degrees. The result is every time we open the door, it slams open at 180 degree angle, which is very annoying. We’ve had a Whirlpool certified technician look at it and we were told that it was a bad design and nothing could be done about it. Also the hinges at the top of the doors do not have a cap to hide the hardware like all other refrigerators we saw in the showrooms. The product looks unfinished. The inside drawers do not slide smoothly and appear to be very cheaply made so we fear they will not last long. Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions we did not see the product in the store and ordered it from specifications. Won’t ever do that again. We do not recommend this product.

Nice fridge but it is loud
Ordered this fridge from factory about 1 month ago. We have had it now for about a week. Like the design and layout of the fridge. Ice maker works well and produces ice quickly. Lots of room on the fridge side but the freezer side is quite small. Not problem with this fridge is it is very noisy. Brought out a Whirlpool repair person just to make sure all was okay with it. We were told that is the way this fridge sounds and it was okay. Had we been able to hear it run before we bought it we would not have bought this fridge. Runs way to often and is really quite loud.

One door opening is the best.
We are enjoying the side by side fridge it’s been great. We do like the one door opening so convenient. The freezer is nice to organize and easy to find things. The ice and water is wonderful.
We did have a couple dents in the fridge door on delivery, but we have been told they will replace it in a few months not sure why do long but at least it going to be fixed. The sales guys were very good also the delivery was handled professionally.

Good buy!!
I bought this off the floor of our local appliance dealer when my 5 year old Samsung refrigerator conked out. I'm very happy with this one. It's a bit smaller than the Samsung, but it was an emergency and I only had a choice of two. I could use more freezer space but it will do. We live in a smallish condo and the fit, the style and the quality are top notch.

One door convenience safe power.
Every thing is going well and we so far are enjoying it. We like opening only one door to get in fridge and the freezer it easy to organize. We have a couple small dent in the fridge door but have been told with in a few months it will get replaced. So happy so far demand sales guys were great.
