Terrible service
I bought my condo in 2019 and the oven door broke. Called Whirlpool and they had someone from Toronto Appliances Service LTD (they're another story) come to check it out. I paid for the inspection and for the parts (hinges and glass door). I waited over a year because of Covid which I can forgive but then when I kept on complaining, suddenly the missing part arrived. When the technician came to my condo, the part didn't fit!!! Not very happy about the service from Toronto Appliances Service (very rude and never call back), I'm out of $900 and I haven't had a working oven for over a year. Not impressed with either company.

Do not buy this oven!!! -(VERY POOR OVEN)
I bought this oven in 2015, in 2016 just past the warranty I had to replace a faulty board at a cost of $430 then in early 2018 it started with the same problem, had another technician in to replace the oven sensor at a cost of $200,, hoping that would fix it. Now it is 2 months later and having the same issue the temperature doesnt work, timer won’t work, shuts itself off - there are not error codes when it does this. I would have thought by now Whirlpool would have fixed the issue. DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN. I have found a Moffat that is the same size. Hopefully that will work.....I have given it a Poor straight across the rating because it is NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!

Useless oven
I have Whirlpool Oven WOS52EM4AS since 1.5 yrs. I have same problem that TjZb and SMHALL has--the display just quit working.
It's used very infrequently.
Oven will not turn on. It's very frustrating as the warranty just expired. Looks like Whirlpools calculation is very exact. Now Repairman is charging tons of money to set it right.
I always trusted Whirlpool since long. But looks like their business model has changed to make short life appliance so people will have to buy frequently. What they forgot was that people will not buy their appliance next time. Never buy another Whirlpool appliance.

Displayed just stopped working
I can relate to all of the above Whirlpool convection wall oven owners as the display on my oven just stopped working. There is no sign of life on the screen and the check mark button (smaller circle to the right) is pushed in and won't come back out. (I was trying to pre-heat so I could roast my potatoes in there for dinner).
I've had this oven for under two years and I'm surprised/disappointed to be faced with such a problem. I can't believe it just stopped working. I was happy with the simplicity of this oven...but never expected that such a young appliance would stop working so soon after purchase.
Whirlpool Customer Service? Please help.

Display Broken Within 1.5 Years
I was happy with this oven at first. It's a little small but for a smaller apartment the size makes sense. I had no major issues with it right away and it got the job done. However, now that it's past the warranty stage, the display on the oven no longer works. With this particular oven that means that I can no longer set anything (temperature, timer, clock, etc.). I'm disappointed that Whirlpool won't do anything to fix this (without a major cost to me). I wish that they were willing to stand behind their products, especially when they have sold a faulty one. That said I would avoid this model of stove and would suggest researching appliances from another company. We all want a product that lasts longer than 1.5 years, especially at this price.

Failing Display Board
I bought a condo where this unit was installed by the builder in 2015. Moved in in 2020, and the display board failed shortly thereafter.
I came to the support page and found countless other reviews of people experiencing similar issues. Surprised that Whirlpool, once a reputable brand, ships products with such a short lifespan. For 1800 CAD brand new, this is pretty sad.
Currently getting quotes to have this replaced - not sure if this is worth it, though, or whether I might replace this unit with a different manufacturer's product.
